Louisville, KY, April 04, 2013– Louisville-based Caldwell Tanks, Inc. has announced its entry into the wire-wrapped prestressed concrete tank market, opening a new Prestressed Concrete Tank Division.
By entering into the wire-wrapped prestressed concrete tank market, Caldwell will further expand its capabilities to provide storage solutions to customers in the water, wastewater, industrial, energy and process sectors by offering a complete line of every type of liquid-containment structure commonly in use today.
Caldwell’s Prestressed Concrete Tank Division team has vast knowledge of the industry with over three decades of combined experience in both the design and the construction of wire-wrapped, prestressed concrete storage tanks that meet the requirements of the AWWA D110 Standard and the ACI 372 Report.
During 2013, Caldwell intends to design and build prestressed concrete tanks throughout most of the continental U.S. except for sites located in Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia and in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. However, Caldwell intends to begin serving these areas in January 2014 when it expands its operation to serve customers nationwide.
