In addition to our capabilities with Field-Erected Tanks, Caldwell Tanks has ASME U, U2, and R Stamps. We use these stamps to build ASME Section VIII Pressure Vessels & Spheres, as well as to perform repair work on your existing Pressure Vessels & Spheres.
Our field crews consistently prove to be among the most diverse and experienced crews in the business. In addition to tanks, we’re highly capable and experienced in building spheres and vessels on legs, skirts, and saddles.
Caldwell is equipped to design, fabricate, and erect spheres throughout the United States.
We use our 1500 Ton Press to form our plates to precise sphere requirements. Having this equipment in-house enables us to control our schedule and production to a level that sets us apart from some of our competitors. We have the ability to build and test spheres to the requirements of both Division 1 and Division 2 of ASME Section VIII.
For projects where the timetable or design requirements make it prudent to do so, we use our 1500 Ton Press to form plates for the tops and bottoms of pressure vessels, while still maintaining the ability to purchase heads. This allows us to perform some projects in a method that others cannot offer.
